Ken Tielkemeier: Summertime allegory

In 1990 Ken Tielkemeier painted the american version of his Summer time allegory. This version is a complete explosion of colors and is inspired by the lushness of his garden in Staten Island during the summer. We can see houses, an ancient mansion, figures of men and women, flowers, birds, a pheasant and two big butterflies.
